New build residential development of 39 flats on a prominent location in the north of Glasgow overlooking Springburn Road. The design featured a “book-end” arrangement of 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom duplex flats creating a landmark building that completed a line of existing traditional tenements. Using a timber frame to form the 5 storey structure meant that the design had to account for progressive collapse as well as settlement between the timber and masonry construction.
